The Red Dot Campaign was started in Pune in Feb 2017 by SWaCH.
It is an appeal to residents to wrap up their sanitary pads, diapers in envelopes/bags marked with a red dot , which helps to identify sanitary waste & treat it accordingly.

This is essential to protect health of sanitation workers & keep environment clean.

Additionally this provides source of earning for physically disabled / blind or socially disadvantaged.
